Thanks so much Dominic! We were absolutely in awe of that special setting and reserve. Amatikulu is spectacular, peaceful and wonderous. We can’t wait to plan another visit.

I have just discovered your blog through South African Bloggers website. What wonderful travels. Interesting! I mainly blog about travel in the Bushbuckridge area in Mpumalanga, so its nice to see your stories of different places.
Hi Kgomotso
Thanks so much for your comment and for having a look through my blog. I love to share some of our getaways and experiences while exploring.
I really like the layout of your blog. Wow, you’ve had some fantastic wildlife sightings too.
Thanks:) Most of my photos in my blogs are taken by by Canon camera, not my phone. But I’m starting to rely more on my phone these days as its so convenient. I do still find my quality best with my camera though.
Hi kelly, i want to thank you for your lovely blog. I found it months ago doing some research on kubu island. Yesterday i read my way, for the second time, through your botswana trip stories. But apparently you also wrote about south africa. Cant wait to work my way to those as well. My husband and i love travelling…In 2017 we have spend 3 weeks in south africa. From jo burg to saint lucia and back via drakensbergen. It was sooo diverse and made us dream about seeing more of it. Next year we will be travelling 7 months in southern africa. Cant wait to visit the places you wrote about….and tons more
Oh Ellen, your beautiful comment has made my day. Even though I am only replying all these years later. (Sorry about that. Mom-life began and my blog took a back seat.)Thank you so much for reading (and re-reading) my stories and experiences. That means so much, and I am so glad they could be part of your holiday inspiration and planning. I’d love to hear about your travels? Did you make it to South Africa for that trip you mentioned? Please share. I loved reading about your 2017 South Africa trip. The route you took from city to coast to mountains and in between sounds gorgeous. I love all the places you mentioned and am so happy that you and your husband got to see and experience them on that trip. We are blessed to live in a country with some natural diversity and beautiful settings. I wish you many more happy travels.
What an incitredible story. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world. Amatikulu is one of my personal favourites too.
